He did it!

The ever talented & opportunistic Tagzee, as featured in our 2013 ONE calendar for the month of June, did it! He now has one of his iconic 'metallic' drawings hanging in the reception area (Jubilee House) of one of the world's largest art auction houses in the world - Christie's! Not only did Christie's buy the drawing off him during their Arts Assembly event, which Cafe Art attended with a few of the artists, but they were so big-hearted as to include a permanent plaque with Tagzee's name underneath it. We held a 'theory' event in July whereby they had talks given to them by homelessness support workers & service users, focussing on the value of...

Signed, sealed, deilvered – they’re sold!

Cafe Art is pleased to secure the sale of a collective work of arts representing artists from 240 Project, Broadway London, Crisis/Holy Cross, One Support, Providence Row and St Mungo's, totally nearly four figures! The Farringdon Practice, a brand new psychotherapy & psychoanalysis practice in the middle of the City, was looking for beautiful, and yet, meaningful, artworks to grace their walls and to welcome their clients. They searched the internet, and Cafe Art was lucky enough to strike a chord with them - what we stood for and whom we stood for. So a meeting was set up and a selection of artworks were chosen by them to compliment their decor and therapy...
