One hundred single-use Fujifilm QuickSnap cameras were given to people with lived experience of homelessness at St Paul's Cathedral on May 26th, 2023.
A crowdfunder, in August and September 2023, helped pay the production costs of the 2024 MyLondon calendars, greetings cards and photos. We pay all the greetings card profits to the photographers who are affected by homelessness. £2,000 in prize money is shared, in 48 prizes, between the top 25 photographers.

Photos and cards from before the 2023 project are also being sold in this campaign with 100% of the profits going to the individual photographers.
The photographers
Photographers were given training in the use of the single-use film camera at the start of the project on 26 May. Of the 105 cameras given out, 85 came back and were developed.
From more than 2,000 photos, 25 were chosen by a jury of people from the homelessness-sector and professional photographers. The public then voted on the top 25 photos to choose the most popular ones.
All votes were anonymous - with no name or descriptions given. Voting took place in Ealing Broadway Station and the Canary Wharf Elizabeth Line Station in early July 2023 and 3,300 people on the Cafe Art email list were also asked for their opinion.
There are 13 photographers in the calendar this year - one for each month, and one on the cover. Each person in the Top 25 will be awarded £50 at the opening to the annual exhibition in October. There are also cash prizes of £50 for each photo in the calendar and prizes for the first, second and third most popular photos as voted on by the judging panel and also by the public vote. In addition, the judging panel has chosen a best portrait award and a most creative photo award. Both will be announced at the opening to the annual exhibition.
Since 2015 volunteers from The Royal Photographic Society (London branch) have trained photographers with lived experience of homelessness. Fujifilm provided digital cameras for this group. In 2021 Fujifilm lent us more cameras to help us create the 2022 MyLondon calendar.
2024 MyLondon calendars, photos & cards
Shipping worldwide, including tracked and environmentally friendly economy mail options. The wall calendar comes in two sizes: Large or Small. Large is 300mm x 300mm (12" x 12") and the Small wall calendar is 240mm x 240mm (9.5" x 9.5"). The desktop (standing) calendar is 200mm x 200mm with metal spiro coil binding. 8" x 12" (A4)-sized original photographs from 2024 and 2023 MYLONDON calendars. Signed certificate of authenticity from the photographer. We will send the photos with the calendars in mid October. Greetings card 130 mm x 180 mm, folded with envelope. Profits from the sale of greetings cards and individual photos goes to the photographers.
