Horse Latitudes: An Audience with Chris Wilson

On Monday 29th September, a lucky few had the very rare chance to listen to Chris Wilson read from his unbelievably hard-hitting, but vividly poetic memoir Horse Latitudes. The book blew Anne-Celine Jaeger away so much so that she have taken it upon herself to become Chris Wilson's agent. Chris is a former prison inmate and drug addict. He's been referred to as "the Nietzsche of narcotics", to Anne-Celine he's the real Million Little Pieces. His writing is raw and utterly unapologetic. Chris is also a very talented artist and 16 shocking and thought provoking, but yet beautiful, colour plates of his paintings accompany the text in the book. His works have been shown in Cafe Art's Art Market Week last October as well as in a number of our partner Cafes. He also kindly provided a signed copy of the book as a prize during the Homeless Link conference over the summer.

For more information about the book please visit this link here.  Cafe Art is proud to support Chris, his book and his artworks .....

Friends and supporters gather round to hear Chris read extracts from his book 'Horse Latitudes' at Paradise Pub, London NW10.
