Instant walk-in art gallery @ 184!

Tom (Recovery Practitioner) with Yvette (artist) surrounded by beautiful artworks in the Recovery Cafe. Yvette's piece is the stunning b/w portrait behind Tom.

184 have transformed their kitchen area into a Recovery Cafe that will be run by a group of keen volunteers who have completed their training at SHP. Their aim is for the Cafe to form the heart of Camden's recovery community, and be a safe place where clients, volunteers and staff alike can enjoy delicious hot drinks and sandwiches. And if all goes according to plan, the cafe will eventually become a self-sustaining social enterprise. The Recovery Cafe (located at 184 Royal College Street, NW1) will be open to anyone in Camden with experience of recovery from 12noon to 3pm, Monday to Friday. And what does one do when one opens a new Cafe with empty wall space crying out for some beautiful artworks? Well, we're really pleased to say that the artists at Cafe Art have graced the walls with some stunning works of art. Thank you to Tom, Dani and Moeed for the opportunity!
