Cafe Art / MyWorld will be helping the Catholic charity Caritas distribute 40 one-time-use film cameras in mid September.
The project - MEIN MÜNCHEN - will involve people who are homeless in the city. Many of them are refugees. Like MYLONDON, this project is about engaging people and connecting them with the wider community. Participants will be given advice on how to use the cameras to take photos of the city that they live in - Munich.
The cameras will be distributed on the 17th of September and returned five days later on the 22nd.
A MEIN MÜNCHEN calendar will be printed and sold in local Christmas markets. It will also be sold online.
Also happening in September is another MYMUMBAI in India, with 50 cameras being distributed to families living on the streets of Mumbai. The results of last year's MYMUMBAI can be seen here.
