Where can one grab some grub and buy beautiful art at the same time in EC1?

Steve enjoying his cup with Umair and staff at Grub on the Green.

Easy! At Grub on the Green. It's because the big-hearted owners (Hussain and Grant) decided to be part of the growing family of Cafe Art-partner cafes. Appropriately named as it's just a stone's throw from the Crypt of the Green, it's located at 53 Clerkenwell Cl, London EC1R 0EA. They not only serve some of the best coffee in the area, made by no other than the Manager himself, Umair, but a great selection of freshly cooked food. They also happen to be hanging some beautiful artworks by a selection of the artists. Not only do they connect with our cause, but their customers too.  One of the customers loved the art so much that they bought one within just a few weeks of us hanging them. You could not believe the look on Steve McIntosh's (the artist) face when we told him. He attends the art workshops provided by 240 Project, a wonderful arts and health activity centre in west London, run by Claudia and her amazing team of workers. As you already know by now, Cafe Art is passionate for the artist to meet up with either the buyer or cafe owner when a sale occurs. So that's exactly what happened! We met up with Steve at the cafe this morning, together with Grant, Hussain and Umair. One big happy family! And thank you to the big-hearted buyer too. So if you're around the Farringdon and Clerkenwell area, and dying to have some great food & coffee, with some wonderful art thrown in, you know where to go now. There's no excuse not too ..... and they are also stockists of our MyLondon 2016 calendar!

Hussain and Grant (the owners) with Umair and staff. Pop in, have a latte and check out the art!
