Vivian Boulay: “I was walking along the street when I met Alex sitting with his cat Valentine, sleeping quietly despite [the noise] of cars and people. I asked him if I could take his photograph. He said ‘yes’ and he explained to me that he had been homeless for many years.” Alex says he lives in temporary accommodation and is from Scotland. Vivian is a member of the Cafe Art RPS Photography Mentoring Group for people who have experienced homelessness.
