Carol Dawson took this shot at Greenland Dock, the oldest of London’s riverside wet docks, located in Rotherhithe on the south side of the Thames. In this photo the towering buildings of Canary Wharf, on the other side of the Thames, are in the background. “In my late teenage years I used to sofa surf all round this area and Greenland Dock was a nice safe haven for me because it’s so open and you’re in the middle of London and you’ve got such an expansive space.
